I came across the movie "Clueless" the other day, which used to be one of my favorite movies back in high school, it seems as though I could watch it 1,000 times and never get sick of it, even if I wanted to...I don't know why exactly...But, I was looking at the font they used for the movie titled, and something about it just fits so well with the actual name of the movie. Maybe it's all of the extra dazzling, glitter, and sparkles they added to it, but something about the font itself fits just right. I would assume that for such a movie, a more detailed, friendly, bubbly typeface would be used instead of one that is so blocky, and really has no extra detail to it (it's san serif), but what they chose seems to be working just fine. Though this font is blocky and lacking detail, it does still have a playful vibe to it. I think this is partly because the descenders are stretching below the baseline and the first "s" is higher up than the rest of the lettering, making it rather bouncy and upbeat.
